ICT in Real Estate
ICME, in partnership with the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano and with OSMI-Borsa Immobiliare di Milano has carried out the first Italian research on the impact of Information and Communication Technologies on the whole Real Estate Industry.
In all industries both the roles of the ICT and of the CIO are under deep changes because of the increased strategic importance that ICT investments are having on business innovations, competitiveness and efficiency gains. Moreover, most of the Real Estate players have great difficulties in estimating the value and the returns of the ICT investments.
Our research is based on more than 30 real cases, chosen from the major verticals in the industry. We have analyzed Investments, Portfolio, Asset, Property and Facility Managers as well as Building and Construction companies to identify how ICT has had major impacts on traditional core businesses and what the major development trends are. On July the 2nd, in Milan, we will present the report and discuss major results of our analysis with the RE and ICT Italian communities. For more information, please >>view.
To receive a pdf-copy of the report, please send an email to Mario.caputi@icme.com
